Welcome to Community Stoma Service (“we”, “our”, “us”).
By accessing our website, booking a consultation, downloading our resources, or purchasing any services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
2. Nature of the Service
Community Stoma Service provides non-clinical stoma support, including:

general education

emotional support
-
self-management strategies
-
guidance on common stoma challenges

referrals where appropriate
All services are delivered by Kelly Taylor, RN, a registered nurse in Australia.
We do not provide:

diagnosis
-
medical treatment
-
urgent or emergency care
-
clinical assessments
-
prescriptions or medical certificates
-
surgical or wound care services
Our support is not a substitute for medical advice from your treating healthcare provider.
3. Eligibility
To use our services, you must:

be aged 18 years or older (or have parental/guardian consent), and

reside in Australia or be legally permitted to use telehealth-style support.
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service at our discretion.
4. Consultations & Appointments
4.1 Booking
Consultations are booked through our online scheduling system. You must provide accurate personal and medical information so we can offer appropriate support.
4.2 Cancellations & Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your session.

Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full fee.

We may cancel or reschedule due to illness, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances.
4.3 Session Conduct
You agree to participate in a safe, respectful, and appropriate manner. Abusive behaviour will result in immediate termination of the session without refund.
5. Payments & Refunds
5.1 Payments
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD). Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
5.2 Refunds
Refunds are granted in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
You may be entitled to a refund or credit if:

the service is cancelled by us,

the session did not take place due to a technical issue caused by us, or
-
the service you received was not delivered with reasonable care and skill.
Refunds are not provided for:

change of mind,
-
missed appointments,
-
dissatisfaction with educational content,

circumstances outside our control.
6. Educational & Non-Clinical Support
All information provided in consultations, emails, PDFs, or on our website:

is for general educational purposes only,

may not be applicable to your specific health condition,

should be discussed with your treating medical provider before making changes to your care plan.
You acknowledge that we do not provide medical diagnosis, wound care, or urgent clinical management, and you should seek emergency care if needed.

We follow the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
We collect only the personal information necessary to deliver services.
